We’ve all heard about that invisible, silent monster. The one that creeps in the shadow. The one that no one can see except the one that’s battling it.
Depression.
The silent monster that kills so many people long before their bodies perish. Kills their joy, their peace, their clarity.
It’s this Invisible shadow that sometimes doesn’t even fully show it’s face to the person battling it. Makes the person feel like it’s just an off day that turns into two that turns into three and before you know it, the person is deep into a dark hole.
Personally for me, by the time I realize I’m going through it I’m already In the rabbit hole and having to gather the strength from where ever I can, to pull myself out.
If you struggle with depression or not even sure if it’s depression but don’t feel right, get the help you need. There is no shame in getting help. Talking to someone.
Because this silent monster is consuming.
